I founded my graphic design company ‘Julie Kins Design’ in 2010. Based in Durban, I have been working in the design industry for over eighteen years. I’m dedicated to the pursuit of original and unique designs for independent clients and companies alike. I place a great deal of value on producing high quality work that focusses on attention to detail and well-considered layout. Having always had a passion for design and creativity, establishing my own agency was a natural step in my career. My experience ranges from working in small and large scale agencies, which has given me a good sense of time management, and the ability to meet deadlines timeously – while being flexible.
I love working with clients closely to develop one-of-a-kind work that fulfils all their requirements – whether this be for ongoing projects or once-off jobs. Creativity goes hand in hand with creating meaningful work – which is why I developed an online range of unique birth keepsakes & decorative wall art as well as gift and multi-purpose stickers – all of which are customisable.
Additionally in 2016, I co-founded Hello Sunshine. This focussed on the design, layout and packaging of educational flashcards and activity books for teaching children the alphabet, shapes & colours & numbers – with a uniquely South African theme.
